Scots, whether you are of Scottish descent or a Scot living in
Minnesota.

Clann
Tartan is a “portable historic site” that portrays the recruiting camp
of Colonel Gaffney's Regiment. It is a detailed recreation of a
Scottish mercenary army that fought throughout Europe in the 16th and
17th centuries and the sutlers, suppliers and campfollowers that were a
part of it.

The
Minnesota Scottish Celtic Dance Association has been supporting
Scottish Highland dance in Minnesota for nearly 50 years. As
ambassadors of Highland dance, the MSCDA has performed all over the
state of Minnesota -- dancing at the state capital to celebrate Tartan
Day, at music festivals and even at county fairs. With dancers at every
level of experience and training, the MSCDA has proudly preserved the
culture of Scotland in Minnesota since 1962. As a volunteer
organization, we sponsor public performances, workshops, competitions,
and scholarships to continue providing opportunities to share this
ancient and beautiful form of dance.
