Welcome to the Minnesota Scots website!

Minnesota Scots is a collaboration of Minnesotans who are Scottish by birth, by heritage or by inclination working together to celebrate and promote our heritage, culture and history through highlighting the local Scottish organizations, businesses and events in Minnesota in order to build awareness and connections.

Contained within these pages are descriptions and links to Scottish culture and heritage here in Minnesota. Visit us often  on the web and watch our effort grow.

What's Your Scotch? - Whisky Wench Booth

May 19th: 9am - 5:30pm
Minnesota Scottish Fair & Highland Games
Dakota County Fair Grounds 4008 220th Street West Farmington MN 55024

"As many of you know, one of my most popular performance characters, the Whisky Wench, has been entertaining the drinking-classes since 2007. This year I have been invited to run a wench booth, sadly we will not have whisky to taste (due to fair ground rules), but the Wench will be on-hand to read your whisky fortune. Do you like raisins? I might know just the scotch for you. To quote Dave Broom, those who claim not to like [Scottish] whisky, haven't found the right one yet! I would like to thank the Minnesota Scottish Fair and Merlins Rest for making my booth possible." -Fiona
